Another classic ballad that the Italians seem to create so effortlessly. On this remake, Albano is joined by the Bulgarian opera star Marian Pashalieva. A stirring rendition all about freedom inspired by the events leading to Eastern Europe regaining its freedom. Some people find the quasi-operatic singing style of Marian to be off-putting.
I disagree and find it appropriate for the material. I will soon post the original. Look for it.
